The S1300 amplifiers offer a number of other interesting features: The new, triaxial devices can not only be flexibly and individually integrated into the control system via a bidirectional SSI (synchronous serial interface), they are also compatible with the CANopen and EtherCat standard interfaces. And they can also evaluate various feedback systems – including resolvers and encoders with EnDAT and Hiperface. Further advantages include an integrated brake resistor and EMC filter, as well as various integrated safety functions such as a “safe restart lock” and “safe holding brake control”. All these benefits are coupled to high efficiency with low heat development and high reliability.
The S1300 amplifiers also include integrable housing technology. The DC link is accessible for coupling further devices, and many helpful functions allow them to be set up using the plug-and-play principle. The maximum power supply of the triaxial devices is 3 x 480 VAC, while the maximum continuous output current is 20 A.
The new series can be offered at very attractive prices, as it does not require decentral intelligence and many assemblies are only present in one place. The fact that there are fewer different types in use also offers synergy effects for materials purchasing, which leads to increased production output and thereby lower unit costs. For users, having fewer different models not only offers an attractive purchase price, it also helps lower warehouse costs, as fewer models need to be held in inventory.
